Surplus food, turned into documented donations.
Optima ESG is a Brazilian B2B platform. It connects food companies that have surplus with vetted non-profits, and turns every donation into a signed receipt, tax documentation and an auditable ESG record.
The platform itself runs in Portuguese and serves companies and non-profits in Brazil. This site explains what we do to readers outside the country.
The size of the problem in Brazil
National figures on food waste and food insecurity (sources below), not results of the platform. Optima ESG exists to turn this surplus into food for the people who need it.

To our knowledge, Optima is the only platform in Brazil that closes the loop on surplus food: the donation happens, becomes tax proof and comes out as an auditable ESG report, all in the same flow.
The timing matters. Sustainability reporting under the ISSB standards has been voluntary in Brazil since Resolution 244/2026 of the CVM (the Brazilian securities regulator), on a comply-or-explain basis, and it remains the reference for listed companies. Their requests for data travel down the supply chain. A donation spreadsheet does not survive that test; an auditable trail does.
How it works
Simple to run. Solid enough to trust.
Every step is recorded, from the first listing to the signed receipt.
- Step 01
The company lists its surplus
Category, quantity and best-before date, in a few fields. The listing is visible to vetted non-profits nearby.
- Step 02
Non-profits request what they need
Only organizations that passed vetting can request. Each request states what the organization needs and can store.
- Step 03
The company chooses and schedules
The company picks among the requests and agrees on pickup or delivery through the platform chat.
- Step 04
Receipt signed, record locked
The non-profit confirms receipt by signing the donation receipt. From then on the record cannot be edited or deleted, not even by Optima.
Governance, traceability and legal compliance
Every operation on Optima ESG is documented with a signed receipt and an auditable record, from the listing to the confirmation of receipt.
Our mission
To build a simple operation that redistributes food and essential items with less waste, more dignity and better visibility for the people who need them.
Direction
Turn what would be thrown away into a real chance to care for people.
Companies lose margin every day by throwing products away, while thousands of people face scarcity.
Optima ESG was created to fix this structural inefficiency. We connect surplus stock with real demand, with traceability, social criteria and operational intelligence. What used to be a loss becomes measurable value.
Companies do not have to choose between financial results and social impact.
Disposal is an avoidable cost. With traceability, it becomes compliance.
Optima ESG turns what used to be an operating liability into an auditable asset.
Less waste
Surplus is redistributed instead of becoming a disposal liability.
Tax efficiency
Donations to social non-profits, with a potential tax benefit under Brazilian law.
ESG reports
Impact documentation ready for governance and accountability.
Full traceability
Every operation can be audited, from the listing to the confirmation of receipt.
